The supercharged 8C-35 was one of the cars of the team "Scuderia Ferrari", founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929 and that ran with cars provided exclusively by Alfa Romeo, representing the racing department of the Milanese car manufacturer: the car participated in eight Grands Prix before being led to victory by Nuvolari in the Coppa Ciano in 1936. According to Bonhams, the figure reached by the car of Tazio Nuvolari in this round of the Goodwood Revival, is a real record for Alfa and the second highest price which a car was sold at auction in Europe. The buyer remains anonymous because the offer came by phone.
